Hi, I’m Dusty!  Although I’ve always been intrigued by knives since childhood, I only began collecting knives in 2016.  Immediately, creativity struck and doodles began.  Over the next decade, doodles turned into sketches and into balsa wood models.  I eventually taught myself 3D CAD programs and decided to try to make my designs reality.  Thanks to Artisan Cutlery, that dream is now real.

Dylan Mallery is a young Georgia-based designer with an eye for dynamic lines and profiles that evoke speed and motion. "I’ve always had a fascination with edged tools, growing up as an artist, it’s just something that I enjoyed drawing. Getting older I got more into the realistic side of art, sculpting and portraits.

I have always loved knives, since I can remember I was playing with then and more importantly drawing them. When I was about 6 or so, my parents got called to school to ask if everything if fine at home and if there is violence since all I would ever draw was knives or swords. This has stayed with me till this day.

I was born and raised in northern Minnesota and recently moved to the big city of Minneapolis.  With a Bachelor’s of Science in Design, I have been an Industrial Designer, CNC Machinist, Manufacturing Engineer for nearly 20 years.

I’m Jake Diaz, a pocket knife designer with over 20 years of experience designing for many Australian manufacturing industries. My approach to design and problem solving brings a unique perspective to the knife industry. I draw from processes and techniques from other industries to create practical and efficiency focused knife designs.

Nick Rogers of Nitch Designs is just a knife enthusiast learning everything he can about knives. The joy of collecting lead to teaching himself 3D CAD software so that he could design knives with all the features he wanted and to find out what really goes into making a great knife. Ray Laconico, from Visalia, California, has passionately honed his skills as a knifemaker and designer since 2005. His design philosophy seamlessly blends simplicity and functionality while placing a strong emphasis on ergonomics, resulting in knives that harmonize form and function.

Sanford Owen was born in Prunedale, California. Raised on a Kiwi orchard his grandfather grew and many acres of wild growth and Oak trees, Sanford quickly understood the need and use of a quality pocket knife growing up. Learn More

My biggest passions in life are traveling and outdoor adventures. Whiles knives are a huge hobby of mine, other hobbies of mine are photography (specifically landscape, astro and wildlife) and men’s fragrances. Although of course, everything is second to my family. When designing the Fragarach, I wanted to create something authoritative and powerful… for an EDC knife anyway haha! I think that was accomplished very well and hope everyone enjoys it!
