I designed this knife after I finished up the Astro, which was mostly straight lines and angular. I wanted to do something that was in the totally opposite direction and ended up with this design. The translucent and open parts of the scales were inspired by one of my favorite movies, The Creator. I read a book about the art and design of The Creator, and adding open space to props, vehicles, etc. was a theme the designers repeatedly talked about in their design process for the movie. I found that super interesting and wanted to carry that into one of my knives.
